The Honeywell F111U Air Cleaning and Treatment System uses a high efficiency media filter to trap airborne particles, while built-in ultraviolet (UV) lamps inactivate a wide range of contaminants. The filter traps up to 95% of dust, soot, mold spores, pollen, and other particulates. The UV kills more than 80% of serratia marcescens bacteria in the 900 cubic feet of air that flows through the system every minute. Combined, the two technologies can achieve a 99% capture/inactivation rate effectiveness.
